Unexpected function of Google Web Accelerator

Google launched Web Accelerator recently. I guess they never realize it is being used for breaking through GFW. It is a super powerful proxy indeed! Now people in China can browse banned webpages.

A few bloggers know this secret at present. Let’s keep the secret? :) How long people can enjoy the sudden freedom depends on how long it takes for GFW to find this hole and take action.

Technology can still be more powerful than politics, I believe.

Technology can be more powerful than politics… but when’s the last time you knew a blogger who could keep a secret? :-D I’ll do my part and keep my mouth shut, though - I think it’s wildly interesting that this has happened! (And cool for those of you in China!)

I am definitely curious, too - has anything been done about it yet? Or have the right people just missed the memo so far (I hope!)?

I haven’t seen anything done about it. Megan, actually it is not a secret from the begining. :)
