A recent PhD in earth\/atmospheric sciences or related discipline is required. The demonstrated ability to handle large-scale scientific application codes and data I\/O, extensive experience in programming Fortran, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other scientists are essential. Experience in high performance computing is preferred. This is a one-year term appointment with the possibility of renewal.
