  • Laser Physics and Engineering
  • Fiber lasers, solid-state lasers, frequency conversion, pulse generation, coherent or incoherent combination, and quantum mechanics analogy of laser system.

  • Laser applications
  • Laser guide star for adaptive optics, test of fundemental physics

  • Complex Photonics
  • Random lasers, light wave in ordered, partially ordered and disordered media, micro-photonics.

    I am also curious about small world or random networks, and quantum information. Currently I am working on a laser guide star project with fiber laser approach.
