arXiv.org将能Trackback

据物理学家Distler报道，物理学界著名的免费电子出版网站arXiv.org为发表在上面的文章提供了Trackback服务。Distler在他的日志中说，当年Ginsparg反对给arXiv提供任何评论系统，希望让arXiv成为一个纯粹的电子出版系统。
自从两年半前Distler开始写blog后，他就认为这是一个非常好的分散评论系统，它能够防止讨论中对主题的偏离。但是你如何发现物理学家们在他的blog上对某篇论文的评论呢？自然只能通过Trackback。于是他时不时的对Ginsparg唠叨，要他在arXiv中实现Trackback。最后Ginsparg终于接收了这个意见。
是个不错的消息。有一阵子我很认真地考虑往arxiv上传文章，结果发现并不容易，需要 endorsement，而我所在的领域的人似乎很少有用ArXiv的。

我记得好像有“民间科学家”发上去过文章，那是怎么实现的？

这个 endorsement system 是 January 17, 2004 开始生效的。

您好,我是一个在读硕士,前不久发现arXiv.org这个很好的网站,这段时间在上面下载了一些文章,感觉非常好,今天上午我还下了一片文章.可是下午我突然发现不能打开网页了.原因如下:

很郁闷.我下载的论文并不是很多,为什么突然取消我的权限了呢.
我考虑了一下,一个可能的原因是,今天上午我在PDF里面点了那个网站(arXiv:cond-mat/0212395v1 17 Dec 2002),跳出了一个对话框,我当时看都没看就点了不信任.是不是这个原因导致的问题呢.有什么解决的办法吗?
